Bethel Baptist Church - Meet the Staff

Dean Robinson, Pastor

Bro. Dean Robinson was born in 1959 in Lubbock, TX. He was saved at an early age while his father, Bro. Darwin Robinson, was pastor of the Battle Creek Baptist Church in Chattanooga, TN. He lived on the mission field of Mexico for a number of years while his father served as a missionary.

In 1978, Bro. Robinson was called to preach while attending Tennessee Temple University. While a student, he served as an assistant pastor for nearly four years at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cloudland, GA. After graduating in 1981 with a BA degree in Bible, Bro. Robinson moved to Lubbock, TX. There, in 1982, he was called as the assistant pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where Bro. E. L. Bynum was pastor. He was ordained to the gospel ministry by Tabernacle Baptist Church in 1983.

In 1990 Bro. Robinson moved to Medina, TN, to serve as the assistant pastor of Faith Baptist Church, where his father was pastoring. In 1992, Bro. Robinson moved back to Lubbock, TX, where he was called to serve as the associate pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church. In 1999, Bro. Robinson became the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Harrison, AR, where he served for nearly two years.

In 2001, Bro. Robinson moved to Lawton, OK, where he served as an associate of Bethel Baptist Church, until assuming the pastorate in January of 2003.

Bro. Robinson is married to Cheryl (Baucom) Robinson. They have three daughters, and one grandchild.

Cheryl Robinson, Pastor's Wife

Cheryl Robinson was born in Lubbock, TX, on November 6, 1965. She was raised up in church all of her life at Tabernacle Baptist Church where Bro. E.L. Bynum was pastor at the time. She was saved and baptized there in 1983 when she was 17 years old.

On September 7, 1984, she married a young preacher, Dean Robinson, who was the Associate Pastor at Tabernacle at the time. The next year she gave birth to a pair of beautiful, identical twin girls, Sarah and Alisha. In 1993 Cheryl gave birth again to another beautiful girl named Hannah.

Cheryl has lived in several different states with her family where her husband has served in churhes as pastor. In each of these places she has served in the church as a dedicated Sunday School teacher and as a faithful pastor's wife. She has also used her musical talents over the years by singing in the choir and in solos, duets, and trios. Cheryl has been and continues to be a tremendous blessing and encouragement both to her family and her husband as she remains faithful in serving her Lord and Saviour at Bethel Baptist Church.

Randy Mosley, Recording Secretary

Randy Mosley has lived in southwest Oklahoma all of his life. He was saved at the age of 19 and became a member of the Sulphur Missionary Baptist Church at Reed, OK. Ater his marriage to Gloria in 1971, they moved to Snyder where they were active members of First Baptist Church. He was a teacher and served as a deacon for 25 years.

Randy attended Panhandle State University and has an associate degree in Drafting & Design from Cameron University. He is a registered land surveyor and in 1984 he founded North Fork Surveying & Drafting in Snyder.

He joined Bethel Baptist Church in January 2003. He presently serves as an usher and a Trustee, as well as Bethel's Recording Secretary.

Gloria Mosley, Recording Secretary

Gloria was reared on a family farm in southwest Oklahoma. She was saved at the age of 11 at the Sulphur Missionary Baptist Church near Reed, OK. When she was a teen, she met her husband, Randy, whose father was pastor of this church.

She has a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in library science from SWOSU. She and Randy married in 1971, and continue to make their home in Snyder, where she is employed at the Snyder Public Schools as a library media specialist. She and Randy have one son, Brandon, who is a chemist in Oklahoma City.

Gloria has been a member of Bethel Baptist Church since January 2003. She and Randy have served as recording secretaries since 2004.
